On February 24, 2024, 33-year-old Kodey Parks of Drifting, Pennsylvania, was fatally shot during a custody exchange at a residence on Albert Lane in Morrisdale. His estranged wife, 37-year-old Danielle Parks, and her boyfriend, 48-year-old Bryan S. Michaelis, have been charged with criminal homicide, conspiracy, aggravated assault, simple assault, reckless endangerment, and tampering with evidence in connection with his death.
