In the East Germantown neighborhood of Philadelphia, the life of 26-year-old Omar Alexander Freeman Jr., a Black/African American male, was cut short on the evening of March 6, 2022. The incident unfolded on North Norwood Street, where Freeman was brutally shot multiple times in what police described as a targeted attack.
