In the winter of 2021, the life of 32-year-old Latoya Mitchell was tragically cut short in Montgomery, Alabama. On the evening of Sunday, December 5th, Mitchell was shot and fatally wounded. The incident prompted an investigation by the Montgomery Police Department, who quickly began searching for the person responsible for her death.

The investigation led authorities to identify 32-year-old Yolanda Gary as a suspect in the fatal shooting. A U.S. Marshals Service task force took Gary into ...
