On April 14, 2023, at approximately midnight, deputies responded to reports of a shooting at a convenience store in the 3900 block of West Airline Highway in Reserve, Louisiana. Upon arrival, officers discovered the body of 26-year-old Henry Jamal Malancon Jr., a resident of Mt. Airy, lying in the parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds.
