Donovan Bailey, a 29-year-old African American male, was tragically gunned down on April 17, 2013, in Reserve, Louisiana. The incident occurred in the 300 block of East 13th Street while Donovan was driving his van with friends. As they were driving away after dropping off some friends, someone opened fire on the van, hitting Donovan in the torso. Despite being rushed to River Parishes Hospital, Donovan succumbed to his injuries.
