On October 26, 2023, in Clinton, North Carolina, 39-year-old Hector Salazar López was tragically killed in a mass shooting that claimed the lives of five individuals. The incident occurred at a residence on Garland Highway, where deputies from the Sampson County Sheriff's Office discovered the victims, each with fatal gunshot wounds.
