On a crisp autumn evening in Waterbury, Connecticut, the life of a young Black / African American man, 22-year-old Anthony Crespo, was tragically cut short. In the early morning hours of October 18, 2015, what began as a night out with friends descended into violence in the parking lot of the Barley Corn Café on Store Avenue.
