On January 24, 2023, at approximately 10:55 p.m., police responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting inside an apartment at 1285 Washington Avenue in the Morrisania Houses, Bronx. Upon arrival, officers found 25-year-old Randell Timber unconscious with a gunshot wound to the head. Emergency Medical Services pronounced him dead at the scene.
