Johnny Perez, a 23-year-old man from San Antonio, Texas, was last seen on July 2, 1993. He had left a family barbecue with a friend, Jack Lee King, and reportedly stopped at an Exxon gas station before Perez departed with some women in a silver car. Witnesses later revealed that after the party extended into the early hours of July 3, Perez, who had become intoxicated, entered the passenger seat of King's car.
