On March 24, 2024, at approximately 7:45 p.m., 17-year-old Bryan Henriquez was fatally shot in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. Officers from the 67th Precinct responded to reports of gunfire near East 37th Street and Church Avenue. They discovered Henriquez in an alleyway between two homes on the 200 block of East 37th Street, suffering from gunshot wounds to his neck and torso. Emergency medical services transported him to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
