In the East Flatbush neighborhood of Brooklyn, a young life was abruptly ended on a Sunday night. On March 24, 2024, 17-year-old Bryan Henriquez was fatally shot. The male teenager was discovered by police officers responding to a report of gunfire near East 37th Street and Church Avenue at approximately 7:45 p.m. He was found in an alleyway behind a building at 256 E. 37th St., having sustained gunshot wounds to his head, neck, and torso.
