On a summer evening in Brooklyn, the life of 34-year-old Rommel Davis was tragically cut short by gun violence. In the courtyard of the Boulevard Houses in East New York, on July 25, 2015, Davis was shot in the head. The incident occurred at approximately 9:40 p.m., a time when the neighborhood was filled with the usual sounds of a weekend night.
