Elaine Kwiatkowski, 20, went missing on May 29, 1976, after a tragic boating accident off Duxbury Beach, near Marshfield, Massachusetts. Kwiatkowski was one of four individuals involved in the accident, which included her boyfriend, Daniel Poirier, and two others. The group was presumed drowned, as none were recovered immediately following the incident. However, over the months that followed, some of the other victims’ remains were located, though Elaine’s body was never found.
