In the Cypress Hills neighborhood of Brooklyn, a burst of daylight violence on a Thursday afternoon brought a tragic end to the life of 20-year-old Darius Coles. On September 4, 2025, at approximately 2:40 p.m., shots rang out near the intersection of Sutter and Euclid Avenues, just a short distance from Coles' home.
