Death by Force

Akming Albritton, a 25-year-old resident of Brooklyn, New York, tragically lost his life on August 28, 2016. Albritton was found unconscious and unresponsive by police at 15 N. Elliott Place in the Fort Greene neighborhood of Brooklyn. He had been fatally shot, and despite efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead at the scene. This incident was part of a broader wave of violence that swept across New York City that night, resulting in multiple shootings and stabbings.
