In the summer of 2026, the life of 17-year-old Ahmir Jordan was tragically cut short in a burst of violence that unfolded in the East New York neighborhood of Brooklyn. On the evening of Wednesday, August 19th, at approximately 8:20 PM, Ahmir was inside Hakim's Restaurant on New Lots Avenue when the fatal incident occurred.
