In the early hours of September 4, 2015, the life of 29-year-old Christopher Burgin was tragically cut short in the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. He was subsequently charged with the murder of Christopher Burgin. Years later, in June of 2024, Moeleek Harrell, identified as a founder and leader of the violent Brooklyn-based street gang known as the 'Bully Gang,' was convicted in a federal trial. The jury found him and other high-ranking members of the gang guilty on numerous counts, including racketeering, murder conspiracy, drug offenses, and money laundering. The trial, which lasted 13 weeks, exposed the gang's extensive criminal enterprise that terrorized Bedford Stuyvesant and other areas with violence, drug trafficking, and robberies. While Harrell was convicted of conspiring to murder a rival, the available information from the trial's conclusion does not specify if the verdict included a conviction for the murder of Christopher Burgin.
