On a cold winter evening in Brooklyn, the life of 17-year-old Raymond Matthews was tragically cut short. On Sunday, January 10, 2021, the teenager was fatally shot inside the Linden Houses public housing complex in East New York. The shooting occurred around 7:45 p.m., leaving the young man with multiple gunshot wounds to his chest.
