In the quiet backyard of a Canarsie, Brooklyn home, the life of 30-year-old Chad Lewars, a male resident of Queens, was tragically cut short on the evening of August 7, 2024. Responding to a 911 call at approximately 9:46 p.m., officers from the 69th Precinct discovered Lewars behind a two-story residence at 538 East 84th Street, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his torso.
