On June 2, 2024, 14-year-old Jasai Guy tragically lost his life in a shooting incident at the Howard Houses in Brownsville, Brooklyn. Jasai was found with a gunshot wound to the chest in his fifth-floor apartment on Osborn Street. Despite efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead at Brookdale University Hospital.
