On an April morning in 2015, Daniel Weir, a 29-year-old male, was lured to his death by a phone call. The call brought him to the lobby of an apartment building at 139 East 53rd Street in the East Flatbush neighborhood of Brooklyn. There, at approximately 10:40 a.m. on April 15th, he was met by Keron Lynch, then 23, who was seeking retaliation. Lynch believed Weir was responsible for orchestrating an armed robbery against him two weeks prior.
