Shone Swearingin, a 48-year-old resident of Strafford, Missouri, was found dead on June 8, 2018, near WW Highway just east of Missouri 13, north of Springfield. His death was ruled a homicide by the Greene County Sheriff's Office. Swearingin's body was discovered around 3:30 a.m., and Sheriff Jim Arnott described the circumstances surrounding his death as "very suspicious".
