Shannon R. Perkins, a 46-year-old resident of Springfield, Missouri, tragically lost his life on March 15, 2020, during a mass shooting incident at a Kum & Go convenience store. Perkins, who was employed by WCA Waste Corporation, was one of the three victims killed by the shooter, Joaquin S. Roman. The other victims included Troy D. Rapp, a 57-year-old employee of Kum & Go, and Matthew J. Hicks-Morris, a 22-year-old customer.
