Thomas Umberto Sladek, a 21-year-old resident of Redding, California, tragically lost his life on January 26, 2014. Thomas was known for his love of the outdoors, sports, and music. He worked as a sales associate at a local Walmart and had plans to enroll at Shasta College in the spring. Raised by his mother, Desiree Lee Hill, until her passing in 2012, Thomas was a beloved son, brother, and friend.
