In the early hours of an April morning in the Bronx, the life of a 26-year-old man was tragically cut short. On April 15, 2024, at approximately 3:18 a.m., police responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting at an apartment building located at 1102 Longfellow Avenue in the Longwood neighborhood. Upon their arrival, officers from the 41st Precinct discovered Jaquill Monroe in a hallway, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his torso.
