Jaquan Smith, a 21-year-old construction worker from the Bronx, New York, tragically lost his life on September 5, 2018. Early that morning, Smith arrived at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital with a critical gunshot wound to his head. Despite the medical team's efforts, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after.
