In the Fordham Heights neighborhood of the Bronx, a Sunday evening turned tragic for 57-year-old Kevin Jennings. On May 18, 2025, at approximately 6:49 p.m., Jennings was sitting on his walker near the intersection of East 188th Street and Marion Avenue when gunfire suddenly erupted. An innocent bystander, he was struck in the head by a stray bullet. A 34-year-old woman who was reportedly on her way to the supermarket was also caught in the crossfire, suffering a gunshot wound to her leg.
