Jose Garcia, a 35-year-old resident of the Bronx, New York, was tragically shot and killed on January 6, 2022. The incident occurred in the hallway of a public housing apartment located at 558 East 181st Street, part of the Monterey/Twin Parks Houses. Police discovered Garcia with multiple gunshot wounds to his torso around 6:45 p.m. Despite being rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries. Garcia lived in the nearby Mt.
