A tragic end befell 24-year-old James Rivera on the night of July 20, 2020, in the Norwood neighborhood of the Bronx. At approximately 11:40 p.m., Rivera was shot in the back on Decatur Avenue near East Gun Hill Road, not far from his home. First responders arrived to find him unconscious and unresponsive.
