In the summer of 2015, on August 2nd, the life of 20-year-old Christian Garcia was tragically cut short in the Soundview neighborhood of the Bronx. He was hanging out with friends in a park when he was struck in the chest by a bullet. It was a cruel twist of fate, as Garcia was not the intended target of the gunfire. Reports indicate that a gang member had started shooting at someone else, who managed to escape unharmed, but a stray bullet found Garcia. The young man was left to die in the park.
