On the morning of May 17, 2023, at approximately 6:30 a.m., 27-year-old Jeremy Valencia was fatally shot in front of 3470 Fort Independence Street in the Bronx, New York. Responding to a 911 call, police officers found Valencia unconscious and unresponsive, with gunshot wounds to his chest. Emergency Medical Services transported him to Montefiore Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
