In the early morning hours of a Sunday in late November, a sense of normalcy was shattered on the Cross Bronx Expressway. Twenty-one-year-old Ivan DeJesus Bueno, a resident of Paterson, New Jersey, was a passenger in a 2010 Toyota Corolla, traveling westbound with his 21-year-old girlfriend and a 27-year-old male driver. The group was reportedly returning home from a party they had attended earlier.
