A verbal dispute on a Bronx street escalated into a fatal shooting, leaving a young man dead. Richard Kelly, a 21-year-old male, was shot and killed on the evening of January 12, 2015. The altercation occurred in the Longwood section of the Bronx, where Kelly had a confrontation with a man who had just left a nearby liquor store. The argument quickly turned violent when the other man pulled out a gun and opened fire.
