Brian Mulkeen, a 33-year-old NYPD officer, tragically lost his life in the early hours of September 29, 2019, while on duty in the Bronx, New York. Officer Mulkeen was part of the Bronx Anti-Crime Unit, a plainclothes team focused on addressing gang activity and violent crime. On the night of his death, Mulkeen and his team were patrolling the Edenwald Houses, a location known for gang-related incidents.
