In the late hours of a summer evening in the Bronx, a dispute turned deadly, leaving a 35-year-old man fatally wounded. On August 7, 2021, in the Highbridge section of the borough, Shakeinne Jones was shot multiple times. Police responded to a report of shots fired on Anderson Avenue near West 164th Street around 11:10 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Jones with gunshot wounds to his head and arm.
