Shakeinne Jones, a 35-year-old resident of the Bronx, New York, was tragically shot on the night of August 7, 2021. The incident occurred at approximately 11:16 PM on Anderson Avenue, within the confines of the 44th Precinct. Responding to a 911 call, police found Jones unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to his head. He was immediately transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln, where he succumbed to his injuries two days later, on August 9, 2021.
