In the early morning hours of July 23, 2016, a young man's life was tragically cut short in the Highbridge neighborhood of the Bronx. Earl Simmons, a 24-year-old male, was fatally shot in the head just before 2 a.m. near Yankee Stadium on Anderson Avenue.
