On May 24, 2024, at approximately 5:57 p.m., Marcus Henderson, a 37-year-old resident of the Bronx, was fatally shot at his home located at 1825 Topping Avenue in the Mount Hope neighborhood. Responding officers from the New York City Police Department (NYPD) found Henderson with a gunshot wound to his right leg. He was transported to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
