In the Bronx, a life was tragically cut short on a Friday evening in late spring. On May 24, 2024, Marcus Henderson, a 37-year-old male, was shot at 1825 Topping Avenue. Responding to a 911 call around 5:57 PM, police officers discovered Henderson with a gunshot wound to his right leg. He was rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital, but the injury proved to be fatal, and he was pronounced deceased.
