Melquan Cooper, a 34-year-old resident of the Bronx, New York, tragically lost his life on July 13, 2022. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 1:05 a.m., when Cooper was shot while sitting on the steps of the Love Gospel Assembly church located at 2323 Grand Concourse.
