On the evening of December 20, 2016, a 24-year-old male named Corey Smith was fatally shot in the Bronx, New York. The incident occurred near the intersection of 175th Street and Crotona Park North. Responding to a call about a person shot, police discovered Smith unconscious and unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
