In the early morning hours of a Saturday in the Bronx, the sound of a gunshot shattered the quiet of the Williamsbridge neighborhood. Police, alerted by a ShotSpotter activation, arrived at 763 E. 219th Street to a grim discovery. There, they found 62-year-old Russell Scott Wells, a male resident of the Bronx, unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to his head.
