Death by Force

Jeremy Ortega, a 24-year-old male, was fatally shot in front of his home in the Bronx on April 13, 2025. The incident occurred at approximately 4:47 a.m. on Quincy Street in the Throggs Neck neighborhood. Police responded to a 911 call reporting the shooting and arrived to find Ortega suffering from two gunshot wounds to his chest. Emergency medical services transported him to Jacobi Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
