Javier Saul, a 27-year-old man from the Bronx, was fatally shot on April 1, 2025, in a violent incident that has left the community shaken. The shooting occurred around 3:35 p.m. near the Bronx Zoo on East 187th Street. Saul was inside his vehicle when gunfire erupted between him and the occupants of a black SUV.
