On February 10, 2023, a tragic shooting occurred near Walter Gladwin Park in the Bronx, New York, resulting in the deaths of two brothers, 37-year-old Devren Smith and 24-year-old Jeremiah Smith. The incident took place around 2:30 p.m. near East Tremont and Hughes Avenues, when gunfire erupted, striking four individuals.
