On a summer evening in the Bronx, tragedy struck 28-year-old Thomas McCellan. On Saturday, July 13, 2024, at approximately 10:18 p.m., police responded to a 911 call about an assault in progress near 2247 Webster Avenue in the Fordham Heights neighborhood. Upon their arrival, officers discovered a chaotic scene. McCellan had been shot in the torso. A 26-year-old woman was also found at the scene with a gunshot wound to her hand.
