Aris Wimbush, a 38-year-old resident of the Bronx, New York, was tragically murdered on August 24, 2022. The incident occurred at approximately 9:30 p.m. when Wimbush stepped out of his apartment in the Morrisania Air Rights NYCHA Development to take out the trash. He was found unconscious in the hallway on the 19th floor with a gunshot wound to his chest.
