Clay Monsanto, 32, a male from the Bronx, was shot in the back on the morning of August 26, 2025, along Anthony Avenue near East 176th Street in the Tremont section and was rushed to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where he died shortly after arriving. Surveillance microphones on a nearby camera captured the burst of gunfire outside 1353 Anthony Avenue around 8:10 a.m., and police later confirmed that the victim was Clay Monsanto, 32, of the Bronx.
