On a spring evening in the Bronx, the life of 32-year-old Trent Jackson was cut short by a fatal gunshot wound to the head. The incident, which occurred on April 29, 2024, was the tragic culmination of a dispute that had escalated throughout the day. Earlier, around 5:45 p.m., two groups of men were involved in brawls near the corner of Dewey and Swinton Avenues, just a short distance from Jackson's home in the Throggs Neck Houses.
