In the a late Friday night in the Bronx, a 23-year-old man named Buriama Sillah lost his life to gun violence. The incident took place on July 19, 2024, at approximately 11:31 p.m. behind a building at 1100 Teller Avenue. Sillah was privately transported to NYC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln after sustaining a gunshot wound to the torso. Despite the efforts of medical staff, he was pronounced deceased.
