In the early morning hours of November 5, 2021, the stillness of a Bronx apartment building was shattered by violence. Inside a residential building at 1290 Rodman Place, 39-year-old Almalik Lee, a male resident, was found unconscious and unresponsive in the second-floor hallway. He had sustained gunshot wounds to his torso. Emergency medical services were called to the scene at approximately 1:44 a.m. and transported Lee to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was ultimately pronounced deceased.
