Jordany Aracena, a 17-year-old Hispanic male, was fatally shot on the evening of September 25, 2022, in the Mott Haven neighborhood of the Bronx. Around 6:15 p.m., near Beekman Avenue and East 141st Street, five individuals dressed in black and wearing ski masks opened fire, striking the teenager in the chest and arm. The assailants fled the scene, and Aracena was rushed to Lincoln Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
