On the evening of June 2, 2023, in the Bronx, New York, a young life was tragically cut short. Nixon Rodriguez, an 18-year-old Hispanic male, was fatally shot in front of 3329 Olinville Avenue at approximately 6:22 p.m. When officers from the 47th Precinct arrived at the scene, they discovered Rodriguez with a gunshot wound to his chest. Emergency services rushed him to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi, but he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
