On June 2, 2023, at approximately 6:22 p.m., 18-year-old Nixon Rodriguez was fatally shot in front of 3329 Olinville Avenue in the Bronx. Responding to a 911 call, officers from the 47th Precinct found Rodriguez with a gunshot wound to the chest. Emergency Medical Services transported him to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi, where he was pronounced dead.
